Hi I’m Thea! (pronounced Taya).
Pronouns: She/Her
The mythological Thea was the Greek Goddess of light and mother of the sun, moon and dawn. It’s no wonder I was born as a Leo, to shine brightly, with its ruler being the Sun. I have an inherent belief and trust in the unfoldment of the flow of life/light. At its foundation, my work is about the ability to hold space for healing and transformation.
Ever since I was a child I loved to dress up and play with makeup, so pursuing a career in the beauty industry was a natural progression. Working first as a massage therapist, then attended The Aveda Institute for Cosmetology.
I have done hair, makeup, wardrobe, and nails for photo shoots, film, commercials, the local runway and in the salon. In 2005, I was awarded one of the hottest hairstylists in the Twin Cities by the Star Tribune. Since then I have also become a mom, a 500 hour yoga teacher, and a Reiki master. Currently, I am pursuing my certification as a professional astrologer through Astrology University.
My intention is to give you a relaxing and pampering experience and I value the deep human connections I have made while also getting to be creative. I enjoy doing many different types of color. Blonding, foils, bleach and tones, corrective colors, vivids as well as lived in natural color.
